Accessories for the Seestar Smart Telescope from Omegon
do you like to mount your Seestar Smart under the starry sky, but want to get even more out of your images? Omegon has some useful tools for that. All are robust and durable, as they are made of metal. The application is extremely simple: the protective cap protects the telescope during storage and attaches magnetically to the objective. When the telescope is in use, the S30 to M48 adapter is gently pressed into the objective recess. The adapter also includes an O-ring, although it is only needed for very few S30 models. Try using it without the O-ring first. Extensions or filters can be screwed to this adapter.
The parts are assembled as follows:
The Omegon Dust cap and spray shield for Seestar S50 attaches directly to the Seestar and ends in an M62 x 0.75 thread. You can screw in the Omegon M62 - M48 Adapter (2'' Seestar S50 filter) or the Omegon Spikemask for ZWO Seestar S50 (both parts require the M62 thread, as the Seestar itself does not have one).
Sunshield and cap:
The lens hood not only prevents precipitation from reaching the lens. Nearby streetlights or other light sources also no longer dazzle the Seestar's optics as much. This helps the automatic image processing to produce even clearer photos. The cap included in the set protects the lens from dust and moisture.
Before turning the Seestar off and moving it to the parking position, please remove the lens hood! However, the cap also fits the telescope when it is in the parking position.
