ASKAR Colour Magic Super D2 Duo-Band 2" (OIII&SII) narrow band nebular filter
When photographing deep sky galaxies with color cameras, a narrow-band duo-band filter is typically used in the Hα and OⅢ bands; whereas with a mono camera, a narrow-band filter is typically used in the Hα, SⅡ and OⅢ bands, resulting in users with color cameras losing a band of nebular detail. This can be compensated for by using the ColourMagic Super D2 Duo narrowband filter (OⅢ+SⅡ) mentioned above.
The ColourMagic Super D2 Duo (OⅢ+SⅡ) narrow band filter has an ultra-high transmittance of over 85% at its center wavelength (500.7 nm and 672 nm). It can effectively enhance the contrast of your images, making it easier to see the details of stars that are otherwise quite difficult to detect. In areas with very severe light pollution, this filter can also selectively filter out light pollution and cluttered signals through the nebula's emission lights to achieve the ideal shooting effect.
Although this is not a specific High Speed filter (for very fast telescopes), through our actual test, the Super D Duo narrow band filter performs well when used in conjunction with a fast telescope even at f/1.9.
