With equatorial (also called parallax) mountEXOS-2, one axis is aligned with the pole star. When tracking a celestial object, only one axis needs to be moved, which makes tracking much easier compared to mounts that only have left/right and up/down axes (altazimuth mount). With the8x50 finderIncluded, celestial objects are easily found. The finder also has a reticle for more comfortable observation in the dark. The mount also features a polar finder that greatly facilitates northward alignment. With two flexible shafts connected to the fine mechanical transmission, objects can be precisely adjusted and tracked in the eyepiece. The stainless steel tripod is height adjustable, ensuring a comfortable observing position.

With a total weight of approximately 31 kilograms, consisting of the three parts (tube, mount with counterweights, tripod), the telescope is still suitable for observations outside of bright cities. Only then can the optics perform at their best.
