The Houghton-Terebizh TEC-VT 300 mm widefield telescope is a lens and mirror combination, with a super-bright f/1.44 focal ratio and 7° of 52 mm flattened image field (5 my RMS). All optical surfaces of the system, consisting of 7 lenses and 2 mirrors, are spherical. This guarantees optimum adjustment stability. The scope of delivery does not include the eyepiece holder (FLI Atlas focuser available on request).
NOTE: the mount is shown in the images for illustrative purposes only, it is NOT included in the price of the telescope.

The Houghton-Terebizh TEC 300 VT-7deg wide-field astronomical telescope was designed by Dr. V.Yu. Terebizh (Moscow University) to offer a wide 7-degree angular field of view and a 300 mm diameter aperture. Its optics consist of five lenses and two mirrors.
It is extraordinarily fast (f/1.44), which adapts the field of view to a 52 mm detector, and the focal surface is flat.
