MARCOMBO, S.A. was founded in 1945 by several partners, among whom José Mª Boixareu Ginesta was its main architect until his death in 1996. Since its beginnings, MARCOMBO has been fully dedicated to the publishing and sale of technical and scientific books for professionals and students as well as for enthusiasts of the subjects of its editorial collection, which initially focused on electricity and electronics and later evolved and diversified into fields such as computer science, automation, mechanics, automotive, telecommunications, energy techniques, economics, business administration, psychology, anthropology, environment, among others. MARCOMBO has always maintained a permanent focus on the Latin American markets, where it has tried to be present through distributors and specialized bookstores in each country. In Mexico, it publishes under a co-publishing agreement with the ALFAOMEGA Publishing Group, and from there it serves the countries of Central America and the Caribbean.
