The use of accessories such as cameras, sunshades, extension tubes or 2" zenithal mirrors will affect the balancing of your telescope Celestron.

The weights allow you to achieve the proper balance, thus facilitating more accurate tracking. To operate your telescope it is not strictly necessary to have a perfect balance.

In fact it is not always possible to achieve perfect balance with fixed weights. All you need is to reduce or eliminate the roll of the R.A. and DEC shafts when the shafts are disengaged.

Weights from Celestron help you achieve the desired balancing and stability with comfort.
