The Crayford bearing combines two techniques to ensure that the holder operates with maximum precision: a large ball bearing and a stainless steel guide rail. The eyepiece holder adjusts very flexibly and smoothly and retains its position even under heavy load. This is a most robust astrophotography accessory.

1:10 mechanism for 10 times more accurate focusing

Adjust the sharpness for observing stars, planets and diffuse nebulae. What is simple in visual observation is a complicated task in astrophotography. But with this holder you can solve it without hassle. Use the 1:10 reducer together with the normal focusing wheel to adjust the tube 10 times more accurately than with a conventional holder.

2" or 1.25" attachments: everything you need

The Crayford 2" holder features a compression ring for attaching eyepieces or adapters. It ensures a strong grip without damaging the accessories. A 2" to 1.25" reducer allows you to install any 1.25" eyepiece to which you can also screw 2" filters.

Load capacity up to 2.5 kg

Mount your photographic equipment with confidence, even large full-format cameras, because it supports up to 2.5 kg without bending. This way you will be assured of exact focus centered with the optical axis.

THINGS TO NOTE:

The focuser is attached to the telescope with a dovetail ring connection. It has a diameter of 78 mm. The following adapters may help you:

Omegon 78/80 mm adapter for the V-Power if the telescope already has an 80 mm receptacle for the focusers.

Omegon 80 to 78 mm adapter + adapter plate package for Newtonian telescopes: a set consisting of a base plate directly suitable for Skywatcher and the reducer adapter mentioned above. Check that the distances between the screw holes for connecting the base plate and the telescope tube are correct.

Omegon SCT adapter package with C11 to C8 adapter For connection to telescopes with SC thread (stands for Schmidt-Cassegrain, but is also available on many Maksutov). For larger telescopes (C11 and larger), Omegon SCT adapter may be sufficient.
