For owners of Schmidt-Cassegrain type telescopes (and some Maksutov-Cassegrain), this conversion ring will allow them to more easily use their accessories, such as an elbow or a f/6.3 focal reducer, often equipped with a specific SCT thread (2" - 24tpi). In this way, a female SCT output is transformed into a much more universal M42 male output. Aluminum construction, black anodized. 2mm generated fretwork.
