Product Details

Eyepiece TeleVue Plössl 55mm 2".

The TeleVue Plössl eyepieces have two groups of two lenses, polished with high quality glass, to reduce astigmatism and chromatic dispersion. A multi-layer coating improves light transmission and image contrast. This is further enhanced by the presence of internal baffles.

The 55mm eyepiece has the largest field of view available at 2" (3 times larger than any 31.75mm eyepiece). The focal plane is at the edge of the eye relief to minimize vignetting. This eyepiece will pair perfectly with a Barlow Powermate lens to increase the number of magnifications available.

Each eyepiece has a rubber eyecup.
