The low power consumption of this filter wheel and its reduced weight (400gr), make it ideal to combine with any equipment. Its aluminum housing shows the quality of this accessory. Its distance between sensor and filter is very low (10mm with an ASI1600 MM Pro), so filters will not show "vignetting".
A USB cable is enough to power this EFW, as its maximum consumption is around 120mA at 5V, so it can be connected directly to the USB 2.0 hub of cooled cameras.
The new 36mm electronic filter wheel (EFW) was independently developed by ZWO for astronomical monochrome cameras. With a larger body and new screw holes in the caps, it will offer a much easier and repairable way to attach to ASI cameras.
Automatic moving filter holder wheel. Seven positions for 36mm diameter filters (not mounted). Attachment to telescope via adapter with 1.25″ socket. Connection to the filter wheel eyepiece holder by means of 1.25″ socket thread with fixing screws. Includes wiring.
