This adapter is required, for example, to adapt modern correctors with M63x1 thread on the telescope side to refractors with M54x0.75 male thread connection.

On the other hand, the adapter can also be used to reduce an M63x1 male thread to an M54x0.75 female thread.

The adapter allows, e.g. the connection of correctors with M63x1 thread to telescopes with M54x0.75 external thread on the camera side such as Apos from Explore Scientific.
