A safe and quick way to find the sun with your telescope.

For approximate alignment, first observe the disk of light projected by the sun on the back plate from the front.

The red dot visible through the back of the finder lights up when it is aligned with the sun.

Remember, never look at the sun through a telescope without a certified solar filter!
