Tilt Tape ZWO M48
Astrophotography with ever larger sensors imposes demands that were previously less relevant. It is imperative that a large-diameter sensor (beyond the APS-C format) is perfectly perpendicular to the optical axis, otherwise very distorted stars will be produced at the edges of the field. This orthogonality defect, known as tilt, can be corrected by means of an adjustable adapter.
For this purpose, ZWO offers for its cameras a 5 mm thick tilt correction ring with M48 threads (in/out). It is attached to the front of ZWO ASI2600/6200/2400 cameras or to the OAG M68 splitter. Three screws at 120° allow, with the help of an Allen key, the tilt adjustment, while three others ensure the fixation.
Note: this accessory is included with full-format cameras.
Solid aluminum construction
Maximum diameter: 90 mm
Backfocus generated: 5 mm (to be taken into account in the calculation of the total backfocus)
