The WANDERER ASTRO WHITE Dwarf 200mm is a high precision manual flats panel designed to provide perfectly homogeneous illumination for astronomical calibration shots. Its combination of carbon fiber and aluminum alloy ensures a lightweight, durable structure with excellent thermal dissipation, ideal for demanding observatories and astrophotographers.

Inspired by the design of competition brake calipers, the White Dwarf stands out not only for its modern and neat aesthetics, but also for its ergonomics and functionality. It incorporates a hollow handle for easy handling and a standard DC5521 power port, compatible with 12V sources common in astronomical equipment.

The panel light is extremely bright and stable, with no flickering, allowing precise flats to be obtained even in demanding settings: less than one second exposure with 3 nm Hα filter at f/7.

Thanks to its dimmer developed by WANDERER ASTRO, the White Dwarf offers an adjustment range of approximately 10 steps (f-stops), combining two voltage levels with continuous potentiometer control. This feature allows the intensity to be precisely matched to any sensor, filter or optical configuration.

The 200 mm model is ideal for telescopes with apertures up to approximately 180 mm, offering a perfect balance between size, power and portability.

The Wanderer White Dwarf 150mm is a flat field generator with variable brightness control. Unlike the motorized version of the Wanderer with USB control, this version has only the manual controller. This new Dwarf version includes a carbon fiber panel as a back cover and a new light source for greater uniformity! With a uniformly illuminated panel with 255 adjustable brightness levels, the Wanderer Astro flat panel simplifies the acquisition of calibration frames; the perfect companion for those using an ASIAIR system. The luminous diameter of this panel is 150 mm, but oversizing is recommended. For example, a telescope with a 150 mm diameter sunshade should purchase the 190 mm version.

The panel can be powered by a standard 12V DC supply.
