Product Details

The 22mm eyepiece pair is designed to provide the highest resolution and recommended magnification in the Oberwerk XL series telescopic binoculars. These high-end 8-element eyepieces offer exceptional optical quality, with a wide 70° apparent field of view and outstanding sharpness all the way to the edges of the field of view.

While retaining the aesthetics of the standard 14 mm eyepieces included with the XL models, these 22 mm eyepieces have a larger diameter. To avoid interference with the nose cone, they feature a tapered top and foldable neoprene eyecups, ensuring comfortable viewing even during prolonged sessions.

The short focal length allows the XL binoculars to reach the maximum recommended magnification:

BT-70XL: 18x
BT-82XL: 20x
BT-100XL: 25x
BT-120XL: 30x
BT-127XL: 30x

With a 16mm eye relief, they are also suitable for eyeglass wearers. The 1.25" tubes are threaded for standard astronomical filters.
