Shelyak Star Analyser 200 Diffraction Grating
The STAR ANALYSER 200 is a fantastic Diffraction Grating for spectroscopy. In a 1.25" format inserted in an aluminum kite as if it were a 31.8mm filter, this Diffraction Grating will allow very complete studies of the light originating from the stars.

- Professional astronomers use in their daily routine the power of spectroscopy to reveal the secrets of the Universe. Now, the STAR ANALYSER 200 allows amateur astronomers to do the same for a very affordable price.
- In a format equivalent to 1.25" filters, the STAR ANALYSER 200 is ideal for use with today's entry-level CCD cameras, webcams and video cameras.
- For example, with the use of a humble 80mm diameter tube and an unmodified webcam, the hidden features of stars up to magnitude +4 can be revealed. With a 200mm diameter telescope and an astrophotography camera with long exposure sensitivity, even Supernovae and bright novae can be identified and even the expansion of the universe can be measured by studying the redshift of a Quasar.

- The Diffraction Grating is protected by an Anti-Reflection treated glass.
