Product Details

The new FC-76DS is an updated version of the original 1980 FC-76. The multi-coated fluorite glass rear lens and the environmentally friendly glass front element deliver maximum light transmission to the focal plane.

This design allows for all the advantages of high resolution photography. The FC-76DS mounts a 76 mm diameter, 550 mm focal length fluorite apochromatic doublet lens in only 3 kilograms of weight and incorporates a Ø 2.6" diameter focuser optimized for CCD and DSLR photography.

The tube diameter is 90 mm and incorporates a retractable sunshield. To extend the capabilities of this telescope, a dedicated reducer and field flattener are available as an option.

The dedicated reducer for this model reduces the focal length to 417 mm with a focal ratio of F/5.5 and an image circle of 36 millimeters, while the field flattener delivers 594 mm focal length at F/7.8 with an image circle of 40 mm.

OTA version without clamp and finder. Output to inch and a quarter.
