With this adapter you can also use your Powermate barlow for photographic purposes, e.g. lunar and planetary photography. It provides a secure connection between the Barlow lens and the camera without having to worry about tilt or off-center.

Note: This adapter is not suitable for 1.25" 2.5x and 5x Powermates.
