The Triplet Ortho-Apochromat concept of TOA binoculars combines outstanding sharpness and contrast. This unique optical formula, based on a high air-gap ED triplet, has the advantage of completely eliminating spherical aberration, while offering the best chromatic correction in the binocular range Takahashi. The TOA excels in both high planetary resolution and deep sky imaging, taking full advantage of the capabilities of cameras with the largest sensors.

The TOA-150B is equipped with an oversized 102 mm (4") rack with 1/7 multiplied focus, a CAA (Camera Angle Adjuster) rotating collar for photographic framing, and a retractable demister shield. It can be combined with the TOA-35 RD 0.7x reducer, but also with the TOA-645FL supercorrector, which offers a 60 mm image circle.

The TOA-150B, flagship of the telescopes Takahashi, is resolutely oriented to imaging. It supports, without mechanical restrictions, the heaviest photographic mounts, including CCD cameras with large sensors.
