Stargazing like a pro - easy with the 70/700 NG refractor telescope. 70mm aperture refractor telescope can show a lot of detail in celestial objects. It is a complete system for exploring the wonders of the universe, consisting of the telescope, mount, tripod and all necessary accessories. The mount can not only pivot the telescope left/right and up/down, it can also be used in equatorial mode, as scientists do in their observatories (see below under "Special Features").The additional finder mounted on the telescope is useful for locating objects celestes.Con the inverted lens also allows many interesting things to be seen during the day. With the height-adjustable tripod, the telescope can be adjusted to the optimum height for large or small observers. The supplied diagonal mirror ensures comfortable viewing.
APPLICATIONAt night, the moon and planets like Saturn and Jupiter can be explored. But thanks to the telescope's wide 70 mm aperture, many celestial objects outside our solar system are also within the range of this telescope. Star clusters many light years away and the haze impress stargazers young and old. With the supplied inverted prism eyepiece, you can obtain a clear image during the day, e.g. for nature observations.
SPECIAL FEATURESWedge mount: at first glance the NG mount of the telescope is a normal 70/700 NG azimuthal mount: one left/right axis and one up/down axis, like normal camera tripods. This mode makes sense especially with daytime observations. With the built-in wedge it can be tilted, so the whole mount can be converted into an equatorial mount for astronomy with a single operation. For the use of the equatorial mount one axis is aligned with the north star. For tracking a celestial object only one axis has to be moved, which is clearly a relief compared to tracking an object in the night sky with mounts that only have up/down and left/right axes.
