The Oberwerk 100XL-SD represents the pinnacle of Oberwerk optical engineering: a 100 mm FCD100 SD FCD100 APO binocular telescope that delivers perfectly chromatic aberration-free images at high magnifications while maintaining a lightweight and portable design. Its magnesium alloy body is fully waterproof and nitrogen-filled, ensuring durability in any observing conditions.
At only 5.67 kg, the 100XL-SD combines a large aperture with exceptional portability. It incorporates high quality 14 mm 8-element eyepieces (40x) with a wide 70° apparent field of view, offering a true field of view of 1.75°. Thanks to its 2.5 mm exit pupil and 18 mm eye relief, it ensures comfortable observation, even for spectacle wearers.
Thanks to its standard 1.25" helical focusers, the 100XL-SD accepts a 1.75° field of view , the 100XL-SD accepts most astronomical eyepieces, allowing users to increase magnification up to 80x (7 mm eyepieces) while maintaining impeccable sharpness and alignment.
