The bright moon becomes even brighter through a telescope.

With large telescopes, observing the full moon can "hurt" your eyes and when you take your eye away from the eyepiece, it can give you the sensation of being almost blind.

The Moon filter reduces this light for comfortable viewing.

The moon filter has a thread for 31.7 mm eyepieces.
