The Sky-Watcher 150i mount is based on the tension wave design, commonly known as harmonic.
Wave 150i weighs only 5.8 kg, but can support a native payload capacity of 15 kg and 25 kg, without and with counterweight respectively.

The maximum slew rate of the 150i is 2400x (10° per second).
Works at any latitude
The Sky-Watcher Wave 150i mount has a working latitude range of 0° to 90°, which means it can be successfully operated at any latitude and does not suffer from the limitations of more traditional geared mounts with counterweight obstruction and out-of-range zenith.
