Applications: Astronomy: Thanks to the 80mm aperture, which collects about 20% more light than a 70mm aperture, you discover more astronomical objects and can therefore observe deep sky objects.
Very positive features are the long interocular distance of 18mm, and the soft rubber fold-out eyecup for spectacle wearers. The rubber adapts to the glasses and the observer sees no problems.
The multiple bonus of all optical surfaces is usually an exceptional feature, but the 20x80 even meets this requirement which guarantees outstanding image illumination and excellent contrasts.
