ASKAR Quintuple Petzval Astrograph SQA106

The SQA106 is a Petzval quintuplet 106mm aperture air-spaced SD glass astrograph.

It has a focal length of 509mm and a native focal ratio of 4.8.

The SQA106 has an air-spaced quintuple lens design that includes 2 pieces of SD glass and supports a 55mm image circle. Stellar performance is excellent and can be found in our published data table.

The SQA106 is a petzval lens structure, due to the self-planar design, users do not need to calculate the specific back focus.

We have designed many mechanical details for the SQA106 to further optimize the user experience.

The 20mm magnification section (optional) is available for the SQA106.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If instead of the standard manual rotator you want to install your automated rotator, the manual rotator can be removed and leaves an M87x1 male thread exposed. Ideally you should get a converter thread that is M87x1 female on the tube side and M54x0.75 male on the rotator side.
