ALTA PRO 3VL is the series of professional video tripods Vanguard made with CNC, ideal for stabilizing the video camera and recording stable videos, as well as useful for heavy telephoto lenses and spotting scopes.

Alta Pro 3VL video tripods are rugged, durable and solid. Made for a wide range of video cameras and accessories, the Alta Pro 3VL video tripod series features a 65mm diameter -15°/+15° tilt hemisphere instead of the typical center column. This leveling base allows the tripod to be set up and leveled in a matter of seconds, without the need to fiddle with the lengths of each tripod leg.

The Alta Pro 3VL 303CV18 carbon fiber tripod has a load capacity of up to 15kg. The 30 mm diameter legs feature three easy-to-adjust opening angles: 23°, 50° and 80°, for standing, sitting or lying positions. Swivel leg locks allow you to quickly and quietly deploy the legs in a range of 29 to 180 cm in height so you can shoot from any angle.

For videographers who use their tripods in more challenging conditions, such as in the sea or sand, the Alta Pro 3VL tripods include detachable section locks to optimize tripod cleaning and maintenance. In addition, the retractable steel spikes allow the tripod to be set up on any type of terrain.

This Alta Pro 3VL Kit includes the Veo PV-18 fluid video head, CNC manufactured, which features independent tilt lock, as well as a wheel to adjust the friction according to the weight of the video camera. Two telescoping handles are included that can be removed and extended to suit the videographer's preference.

Includes the Arca-compatible QS-61P large quick shoe with a larger base needed to secure and stabilize the camcorder, telephoto lens or spotting scope. The safety pin ensures that it always faces forward, and reduces the risk of the hot shoe loosening over time. It has a wide range of ball head placement to match the center of gravity of the video equipment in use.

The Alta Pro 3VL 303CV18 tripod features a 3/8" or 1/4" thread on the side for mounting additional accessories using a magic arm (not included). Whether it's lighting or sound to enhance your recording, or a viewfinder or screen to give you a clearer view of the composition.
