With correction and uniform illumination up to 42 mm in diameter, this accessory enables professional results with both CCD/CMOS astronomical cameras and DSLR or mirrorless cameras. Its optical design does not change the original focal length of the Esprit 120ED, maintaining the tube's characteristic brightness and contrast.

The Field Flattener has an M74x1 female thread for direct connection to the telescope focuser and an M48x0.75 male thread (2" filter thread) on the camera side, which facilitates the use of standard filters without the need for additional rings. The working distance of 55 mm ensures a perfect fit with T-rings and common accessories for DSLR or astronomical cameras.
