The ARTEC series introduces a modern and innovative approach to telescope manufacturing, considering the astrograph not as an isolated component, but as an integral part of a complex astrophotographic acquisition system.
The project, conceived by Stefano Seveso, founder of Artesky, and developed together with engineer Flavio Simeone, was launched in 2011. It was designed specifically for demanding astrophotographers looking for stable collimation, exceptional optical quality and consistent image performance.
Over the years, the ARTEC series has undergone continuous development and refinement, both in design and production, with a clear focus on adopting state-of-the-art engineering techniques.
ARTEC 200EZ: High-end design for harmonic frames
Weighing just 10.8 kg, the ARTEC 200EZ is fully optimized for use with harmonic mounts, such as the ZWO AM5, even without counterweights.

The inside of the carbon tube is:

- Finished with a matte black textured surface to eliminate reflections
- Roughened to mitigate moisture-related problems
The outer surface features a durable matte finish for professional aesthetics and durability.
Professional Focusing System - High Load Capacity, No Flexing
- Focusing: 3" Prodigy Micro Focuser (ASIAIR compatible)
- Load Capacity: 9.5 kg without bending or twisting
- Telescope side: Mounted on a base with adjustable tilt for precise focusing plane alignment
- Camera side: Equipped with R.O.A.S. (On-Axis Rotation System)
- Ensures perfect flatness and manual rotation of the imaging train

The R.O.A.S. system is modular and customizable, allowing interchangeable adapters to fit any astrophotography setup.
Lightweight yet rugged: travel-ready and remote-controlled
To reduce overall weight and maintain structural strength:
- Aluminum struts are used between the tube rings.
- A 200 mm dovetail rod Losmandy is included.
