Native 16-bit ADC converter
Thanks to its advanced CMOS architecture, the ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 achieves a true 14-step dynamic range, resulting in very smooth tonal transitions, richer color gradients and the ability to capture both the faintest details and the brightest areas of the sky in a single shot.

Zero Amp Glow Technology
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 incorporates a Zero Amp Glow electronic design, completely eliminating annoying amp glow. Thus, even in long exposure images with high gain, a clean and uniform sky background is ensured, ideal for deep sky astrophotography.

Anti-condensation system
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 integrates a polyimide heater built into the protective window, which prevents the appearance of dew and frost. Thanks to this system, the camera ensures clear, stable and reliable image capture throughout the night, even in cold or high humidity environments.

USB 3.0 and 512 MB DDR3 memory
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 features a high-speed USB 3.0 interface combined with a dedicated 512 MB DDR3 memory buffer. This advanced architecture minimizes data loss and latency, ensuring fast, stable and secure transmission, even during long exposures and continuous high-resolution captures.

Sensor tilt adjustment
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 incorporates a tilt plate with three sets of adjustment screws. Together with the three mounting screws, they allow precise alignment of the sensor plane with the optical axis of the telescope, ensuring a flat image field and uniform star shapes throughout the frame.

Two-stage TEC cooling system
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 features a two-stage TEC cooling system capable of reducing the temperature of the CMOS sensor by 30 °C to 35 °C below ambient temperature. This significantly decreases dark current and sensor noise, even in long exposures.

The ΔT of 35 °C is measured at an ambient temperature of 30 °C, ensuring optimum performance in demanding astrophotography conditions.

Camera performance
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 offers a dynamic range of up to 14 steps. When a gain setting of 100 is reached, HCG (High Conversion Gain) mode is automatically activated, significantly reducing read noise without compromising dynamic range. For optimum performance in deep sky astrophotography, a gain setting of 0 or 100 is recommended.

Quantum Efficiency (QE) value
The ZWO ASI2600MC-P25 achieves a maximum Quantum Efficiency (QE) value of 80%, ensuring excellent sensitivity and performance in capturing deep sky objects, even in low light conditions.

For reference, the monochrome ASI2600MM Pro version features a maximum QE of 91%, offering even higher sensitivity in specialized applications.

Ultra-low dark current
The ZWO ASI2600MM-P25 incorporates advanced dark current suppression technology. At a cooling temperature of 0 °C, the dark current is only 0.0022 e-/s/pixel, which means that even with 5-minute (300 s) exposures the total dark current noise is only 0.7 e-, lower than the readout noise.

At -20 °C, the dark current is reduced to 0.00012 e-/s/pixel, making it virtually negligible and ensuring clean, high quality images in long exposure astrophotography.
