The ZWO ASI992MM Pro is a high-end cooled monochrome camera based on the SWIR InGaAs Sony IMX992 sensor (1/4" format). It offers a resolution of 2592 × 2056 (~5.3 MP) with 3.45 µm pixels, enabling images with high detail and sensitivity. Its quantum efficiency reaches more than 80% at ~1200 nm, covering from visible light to near infrared (~400-1700 nm), ideal for advanced astrophotography, SWIR spectroscopy or specialized optical inspection.

Thanks to its dual-stage thermoelectric cooling (up to ~-35-40 °C relative to ambient), 256 MB DDR3 buffer and zero amp-glow design, the camera maintains low read noise (~71 e-) and high full-well capacity (≈ 62.8 ke-), allowing long exposures with minimal thermal drift. Its USB 3.0 interface and compatibility with standard systems make it easy to integrate into telescopes or optics, making it a professional tool for demanding environments.
