Optical tube Takahashi FC-100DZ complete with accessories

The apochromatic telescope Takahashi FC-100DZ has a different design from the FC-100DC / DF models. It has a fluorite doublet whose focal length is slightly extended, to 800 mm instead of 740 mm of the other models.

Color correction is further improved and the results obtained are close to the best instruments of the brand. This lens modification makes the FC-100DZ one of the most efficient and versatile 100 mm refractor tubes on the market.

It is equipped with a 50.8 mm eyepiece holder, identical to that of the FC-100DF, which allows the heaviest cameras to be mounted. Its use remains very general and even a small mount will exploit its full potential.

If you wish to shoot at the telescope's native focal length, a field corrector is available (the FC/FS 1.04x multiple flattener). It can also be equipped with a focal reducer: either the model 76D-RD normally intended for small focusers, or the model FC-35RD, specific for the FC-100DF and its Ø 50.8 mm focuser.
