Optical tube Takahashi FC-100DF full optical tube D-100mm F-740mm F/7.4

The apochromatic telescope Takahashi FC-100DF is designed around a fluorite doublet with F/D 7.4. It is equipped with a 50.8 mm rack, larger than that of the FC-100DC, allowing heavier cameras to be mounted. Its use is still very versatile and even a small mount will allow you to take advantage of its full potential.

If you wish to shoot with the telescope's native focal length, a field corrector is available. It can also be equipped with a focal length reducer: the model 76D-RD, normally intended for the small focuser, or the model FC-35RD, specific for the FC-100DF and its 50.8 mm focuser. The use of the latter is recommended for cameras or digital cameras equipped with an APS-C sensor or higher.
