Product Details

SkyWatcher 1.25" eyepiece for collimating refractors (short version). Fits 1¼" focusers or diagonals. The economical alternative to laser collimators.

Cheshire type eyepiece for collimating refractors. Easy to use, with a shiny, sloped metal surface (less than 45º) and a hole in the center through which the front lens is viewed.

It is recommended for use in daylight with the lens covered to ensure that the reflection can be seen. When looking through the hole, the slanted, shiny surface will be seen as a bright circle in the middle. If the telescope is properly collimated there will be two reflections centered in the image.
