0.85x reducer

The 0.85x reducer reduces the Askar 80ED to f/6. It is a standard reducer with field flattening correction. It adopts a triple lens design, which includes one piece of ED glass, optimized for APS-C mount. Its weight is 0.44 kg. Rear focus is a standard 55mm from the M48 threaded surface. The shorter focal ratio provides a wider field of view and faster exposure times, making it ideal for capturing large nebulae, star clusters and faint, fast-moving celestial objects.

Features

The rear end adapter has a built-in 2-inch M48×0.75 filter thread, without the need for the additional filter box, allowing direct filter attachment.

The entire unit is CNC machined and comes with threaded metal caps on both ends to prevent dust when not in use.
