Diagonal prism 45° Auriga with image rectifier 1.25"
Astronomical telescopes, due to the excellent optical qualities that characterize them, can also be used for terrestrial observations. However, as is well known, the images offered by an astronomical telescope to the observer's eyes are upside down. Observing and using an astronomical telescope in a terrestrial environment is therefore complicated and inconvenient. However, with the 45° diagonal prism with straightened image, you will be able to use the instrument itself for ground-based observations, as if you were using a normal telescope. The image rectifier Auriga has a high quality Amici prism composed of BaK4 glass and all surfaces treated with high quality anti-reflective coatings in order to ensure maximum transmissivity and minimize brightness loss and contrast modulation. The image rectifier prism Auriga fits comfortably into all 31.8 mm eyepiece holders that come standard on refractors and catadioptric telescopes.
The image rectifier prism Auriga cannot be used with Newtonian telescopes and therefore also not with Dobsonian telescopes.
Compatible eyepieces are all those with a barrel diameter of 31.8 mm. The clamping system is guaranteed by the proven ring locking system driven by an ergonomic and sturdy screw.
