Optical tube Takahashi FC-76DCU complete D-76mm F570mm F/7.5 (Fluorite Doublet)

The FC-76DCU apochromatic telescope is equipped with a fluorite doublet with F/D 7.5. Its very low weight, only 1.9 kg for the tube alone, makes it a very easy to carry instrument, which can be used with a simple photographic tripod. It comes with a fixed demister and a compact 31.75 mm rack inherited from the FS-60CB. A brake locks the focus and an optional rotating collar can be added to facilitate photographic framing.

The FC-76DCU can be equipped with a focal length reducer (76D-RD) or a field corrector (either the 76D-FL or the multi-flattener FC/FS MF1.04X) for deep sky imaging.

The 80 mm diameter tube consists of 2 parts. It can be attached to the CQ 1.7X extender of the FS-60Q, which increases the F/D ratio from 7.5 to 12.75. The increased focal length then allows optimal chromatic correction for unforgettable planetary observations.

For owners of the FS-60CB, a conversion kit is available to transform this telescope into an FC-76DCU.
