This adapter is placed directly on the CANON EOS camera body and allows to connect lenses and adapters carrying the M48 thread (M48X0.75) which is the one used by 2" filters.

The optical path actually consumed by this adapter is 1mm!!!

Applications:

♦ In astrophotography, the backfocus of some telescopes is so short that it is not possible to make a DSLR camera focus if the standard 10mm T-ring is used. In these cases, this adapter is very useful.
